I make games. I talk about games, and I write about games, and I write about talking about games.
If you’re curious what the purpose of this is, I think I’ve figured it out. For a while now, I’ve been meaning to write The Game Designer’s Survival Guide – not so much a book on how to design games, but how to get and survive a career as a game designer. As it seems unlikely that I will have enough uninterrupted time to just sit down and write the book cover to cover, so I will write it one section at a time, approximately once a week or so, then collate the whole thing and give it a good edit and then see if there’s a book there in a year or so.
